Convencido de las excelentes cualidades del esparto, una fibra vegetal aut\u00f3ctona de Espa\u00f1a, me centr\u00e9 en desarrollar una nueva gama de bolsos. Estos bolsos utilizan la cester\u00eda tradicional de esparto, aplicando los conocimientos locales que he adquirido a lo largo de muchos a\u00f1os de vivir en la Espa\u00f1a rural. Un buen dise\u00f1o implica una importante inversi\u00f3n de tiempo, hasta que el dise\u00f1o y su materializaci\u00f3n encuentran un equilibrio natural. Una buena idea mejorar\u00e1 en la fase de fabricaci\u00f3n, a medida que se pone en pr\u00e1ctica y se hacen evidentes las posibilidades de su producci\u00f3n. Hace algunos a\u00f1os vi una fotograf\u00eda de un artesano espa\u00f1ol que mostraba un felpudo de esparto hecho por \u00e9l mismo.<\/p>\n

Detr\u00e1s del hombre se pod\u00eda ver parte de un telar, que utilizaba para fabricar sus felpudos. Durante a\u00f1os pens\u00e9 en esta foto, en el hombre, en el felpudo y en el telar, hasta que vi algo similar en otra fotograf\u00eda de antiguos felpudos holandeses hechos de \u00abbies\u00bb, una fibra vegetal aut\u00f3ctona de los Pa\u00edses Bajos. En ese momento decid\u00ed fabricar mi propio telar para felpudos con forma redonda con el fin de desarrollar una nueva t\u00e9cnica para un nuevo dise\u00f1o de bolso. Los dos bolsos pennenmatten, uno peque\u00f1o y otro m\u00e1s grande, y el bolso \u00abtrammelant\u00bb son los primeros resultados. Fabricados en un telar para felpudos, los resultados son originales y llamativos. Los bolsos est\u00e1n pensados para el uso diario, est\u00e1n hechos de esparto de alta calidad y el proceso de fabricaci\u00f3n es bastante eficiente. <\/p>\n
